Journey

Project managed the development and installation of the new public art work ‘Journey’ at the City of Greater Dandenong in 2015. Artists Kris Coad and Julie Squires created the bone china pieces to reflect the areas past, present and future. The three canoe shaped sculptures symbolise the flow of time, the cycle of growth and evolution, and concepts of passage and journeying.

Each piece represents a different time in Dandenong’s development- from pre-colonial times to its agricultural period and more recent cultural diversity boom.
