About Me

Hi, I’m Annetta Latham

A strategic leader, educator and consultant who works with individuals, public service institutions, the not-for profit sector and community agencies and groups to facilitate the development of frameworks that focus on building platforms that incorporate strategy, design, cultural-led regenerative leadership and planning for transformative change.

Annetta Latham is a consultant, educator, cultural producer, and strategic leader working at the intersection of art, policy, and community. She partners with individuals, public institutions, not-for-profits, and community organisations to develop frameworks that integrate strategy, design, and culture-led regenerative leadership—creating conditions for meaningful and sustainable change.

She brings deep experience in tertiary education delivery, balancing strategic oversight with the realities of day-to-day organisational leadership. Her approach ensures that institutional direction, academic quality, and operational performance are aligned to support high standards and long-term sustainability.

Currently completing a PhD in Culture-Led Regeneration, Annetta examines how cultural leadership, and education can foster more equitable, creative, and connected communities. She has held senior academic roles, overseeing programs in film, acting, media production, and arts management, and has been a member of the Academic Executive Committee at MacEwan University, while continuing to consult with cultural organisations and educational institutions in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.

Across her career, Annetta has worked internationally as a freelance producer, researcher, and arts/non-profit consultant. Her work spans arts festivals, public art programs, municipal cultural development, community heritage projects, and university-community partnerships. She continues to advise organisations and public bodies on cultural policy, strategy, and program development.

Passionate about nurturing the next generation of creative and cultural learners and leaders, Annetta actively mentors emerging practitioners and organisations. She has contributed to the development of multiple municipal cultural strategies and remains committed to sharing leadership knowledge, fostering collaboration, and supporting creative ecosystems to thrive.
